Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jet Kenichi!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nopea pushes Kenichi up against the cage in a clinch.
Kenichi with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Nopea tries to pull guard but Kenichi holds him up against the cage and eventually Nopea drops back down to his feet.
Kenichi stops a takedown attempt from Nopea.
Nopea looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mahtava Nopea. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kenichi using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Nopea has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Kenichi with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Nopea changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kenichi fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Nopea counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Nopea.
Kenichi pushes Nopea off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Kenichi tries to close the distance and clinch but Nopea swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kenichi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nopea looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kenichi tries to stand but Nopea is controlling his head.
Nopea manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Nopea is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Nopea stops Kenichi from getting back to his feet.
Nopea is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nopea is working for a kimura but Kenichi is defending it quite comfortably.
Nopea is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kenichi is trying to stand back up but Nopea is controlling him
Nopea is working for a submission of some sort.
Nopea seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kenichi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Kenichi pushes Nopea off but Nopea dives into side control.
Kenichi is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Nopea has an Americana. Kenichi didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Nopea is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Nopea hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
