Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Kvasov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Paco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kvasov comes to the cage accompanied by Diskoteka avaria-Nebo. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roman Kvasov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paulo Paco!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kvasov goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A head kick misses from Kvasov.
Kvasov misses with a few strikes there.
Kvasov connects with a body shot that sends Paco's belly button to the back.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Paco is defended easily by Kvasov.
Kvasov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Paco.
Kvasov gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Paco tries to free his leg and advance position but Kvasov is retaining full guard.
Kvasov wants to stand up but Paco is controlling him.
Paco thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kvasov wants to get back to his feet but Paco is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Paco drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Paco seems to have locked his on tight now - Kvasov screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Paco, as he picks up the win!
