The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spektor shoots and misses
and Tesser counters with a left and a right that stings Spektor.
Tesser throws a series of punches but Spektor moves out of range.
Tesser keeps the fight on the outside.
Tesser circles away from the clinch attempt
and Tesser counters with a left and a right that stings Spektor.
Noel Spektor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spektor tries to clinch
and Tesser counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tesser looks to land a combination. Spektor sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Spektor takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Spektor is breathing heavily.
Tesser throws a series of punches but Spektor moves out of range.

A left and a right from Tesser both land. Nice combination.
Spektor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tesser lands a body shot.
Tesser lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tesser.

Spektor is rocked!
Sloppy strikes from Tesser. Those never looked like landing.
Oh Spektor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
No joy there for Tesser, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Spektor seems to have got his legs back now.
Spektor darts in trying to clinch
and Tesser counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Tesser throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Spektor takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tesser connects with a looping right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Spektor tries for a takedown but Tesser circles away easily
and Tesser counters with a one-two to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Noel Spektor. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tesser lands a nice looking body shot.
Spektor darts in trying to clinch
and Tesser cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tesser connects with a body shot.
A combination from Tesser does no damage.
Tesser feints a jab promting Spektor to slip. Tesser then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Spektor slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Spektor. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Spektor takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Tesser scores with a one two! Spektor had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Spektor wants to clinch but Tesser slips to the side
and Tesser counters with a left and a right... And another left! Spektor is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Laurent Tesser!
