Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sunny Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Singh comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Lion Zion - Bob Marley. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Riley!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riley fails with the takedown

and Singh counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Singh.
Riley seems keen to control Singh's posture.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Singh wanted to stand there but Riley had control of the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sunny Singh.
Riley throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Riley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Singh closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Riley's guard.
Singh wants to stand but Riley is controlling his posture from full guard.

Riley is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Sunny Singh just wasn't active enough.

Singh changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Riley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Singh takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Singh wants to clinch up but Riley keeps it at a distance.
Riley avoids a punch combination nicely.

Singh closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Riley to the mat! Riley manages to get full guard.
Riley is trying to hold Singh in close to prevent damage but Singh has managed to pass into half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sunny Singh showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Singh has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
