11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Huynh! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Leroy Goins! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huynh checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Huynh avoids the body shot from Goins.
Goins tries to work over Huynh's front leg with a kick but Huynh checks it. Huynh looks to score with a jab to the body but Goins is just out of range. Goins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Goins working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Goins with a flurry of punches that miss. Huynh had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Goins defends it easily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Goins accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Huynh is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Huynh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Huynh is trying to hold Goins in close to prevent damage but Goins has managed to pass into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Goins wants to control from the top but Huynh keeps moving. Goins stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Huynh throws up his legs and catches Goins in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Goins tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Huynh! That came out of nowhere!
