Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kah Fing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Flare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fing comes to the cage accompanied by Whats My Name. Flare has chosen Also Sprach Zarathustra as his entrance music. Rick Flare has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kah Fing's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Kah Fing! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rick Flare! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fing tries to clinch up letting Flare counter with a right hand. Flare misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Fing throws a sloppy head kick and Flare moves out of range easily. Fing scores with a punch to the head. Fing leaves Flare with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Flare shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fing's guard. Flare works a leg free and moves into half guard. Fing taking some punishment here, with Flare in his half guard. Fing is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Flare sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Fing defending well though. Fing avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Flare.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flare trying to pass the guard but Fing defending well. Flare seems to be looking for submissions.
Flare landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Flare scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Flare is controlling the pace.
Flare thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Flare working over Fing with some ground and pound. Fing looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Flare trying to mount his opponent but Fing defends it. Flare seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flare thows a huge punch but Fing dodges it nicely.
Flare is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Flare wants to control the pace but Fing is squirming around nicely. Flare throwing strikes here but Fing is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Flare is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Fing is surviving well by controlling Flare's body position as best he can. Flare throws some wild stikes that Fing manages to avoid easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flare unloads with some shots from mount but Fing bucks and avoids them well.
Flare lands with some strikes. Fing wants to control but Flare is having none of it. Flare landing punches. Flare controlling the pace for now. Flare punching from mount but Fing doing a good job of avoiding damage. Flare content just to control the position here. BOOM! Flare connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Flare throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Fing is working to get back to half guard.
Flare has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fing gets back to half guard. Fing is trying to get back to full guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Flare connects with a nice short shot to Fing's temple. Fing trying to control but Flare postures up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fing is trying to stand up here but Flare is controlling him well. Flare with the ground and pound but Fing uses the opportunity to regain guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rick Flare dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Fing moves to clinch but Flare breaks away and Flare counters with a shoot takedown. Fing fights it but they end up in guard. Flare missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fing bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Flare's guard. Flare is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Flare controls Fing momentarily but Fing frees himself. Flare lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Fing! Fing is looking to improve his position but Flare isn't that keen on the idea. Flare lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fing tries to lock up and control but Flare gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Flare putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Fing holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Flare tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Flare pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Flare goes for an armbar but Fing turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Fing. Flare keeping moving, preventing Fing from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fing preventing the sweep. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Flare looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Flare looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Fing trying to control the position from guard on top but Flare is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rick Flare showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Fing stuffs the takedown attempt from Flare. Flare gets slowly back to his feet. A leg kick checked by Flare. Fing lands a head kick!
Flare shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fing pinned against the cage. Fing gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Flare circles away from the clinch attempt.
Flare ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Fing thumps Flare with a low kick. Flare uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fing.
Fing is looking to clinch but Flare is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fing misses with a shot to the body and Flare counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fing's guard now. Flare postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Fing controlling Flare's posture. Flare with a flurry of punches that miss. Flare with a flurry of punches that miss. Flare wants to control from the top but Fing keeps moving. Flare trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Flare drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fing manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Flare has Fing in his guard. Flare keeping full guard, as Fing tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flare working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fing doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fing manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fing trying to control but Flare is working from the bottom. Flare looking to control.
Fing knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Flare on the ground. Fing tries to free his leg and advance position but Flare is retaining full guard. Flare is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Fing trying to control the position from guard on top but Flare is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flare is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Flare escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fing gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Flare avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Rick Flare is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fing is fighting to break Flare's control of his arms but Flare is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Flare wants to sweep but no luck. Flare trying to control the position.
Kah Fing has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fing not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Fing misses with a lunging right hand
and Flare counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Flare is thwarting Fing's attempts to control the position. Flare content to control rather than advance. Fing tries to roll over but Flare keeps him under control. Flare is figuring out what he wants to do next. Fing looking for submissions off his back.
And that's the end of the fight! Rick Flare comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Flare winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
