Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eithan James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Rollins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eithan James! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donk. Rollins catches James right on the button with a cross. Rollins scores with a one two! James had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Rollins bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of James's head.
It looks like Eithan James has been cut. James fails with the takedown and Rollins counters with a nice double leg into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Rollins slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. James is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. James has a closed guard, preventing Rollins from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James is working an open guard so Rollins takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. James with a lazy takedown attempt and Rollins counters with a nice double leg into side control. James won't be happy with that. James manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. James is not content to let Rollins control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. James is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rollins's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rollins's back! James has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. James is persistently looking for the submission but Rollins is defending it well.
Rollins is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake James off. It looks like it's working - James slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Rollins displaying calm under pressure there. James shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rollins pinned against the cage. Rollins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Mike Rollins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eithan James. James looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rollins throws a series of punches but James avoids them all with ease. Rollins misses with a low kick.
Rollins tries to clinch but James moves away and James counters with a takedown into side control. James stands up. James is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Rollins moves out of range as James throws a body kick.
Rollins attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. James is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rollins's half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rollins pushes James off looking to stand but James dives back in and keeps control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rollins trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Rollins has one foot on James's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. James shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Rollins counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Rollins missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Rollins with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Rollins tries to stand but can't do so whilst James controls his leg. James keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rollins scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Rollins stands up and beckons James to join him on the feet. James avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rollins tries to land a front kick but James steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. James on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. James avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Rollins blocks a head kick by James.
James tries for a takedown but Rollins circles away easily and Rollins counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for James! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rollins takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Rollins trying to control but he's not successful this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Rollins's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Rollins duly obliges. James shoots in but Rollins avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rollins circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rollins moves in looking to clinch but James pushes him off. James avoids a kick to the body.
James with a poor takedown and Rollins counters by clinching up. Mike Rollins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eithan James. Rollins wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Rollins lands a right hand that snaps the head of James backwards. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rollins escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
James moves out of range of the body kick. James has his takedown stuffed enabling Rollins to counter with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rollins closes the distance and clinches. Rollins pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rollins fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Rollins throws a head kick but James moves out of range.
Mike Rollins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rollins lands a lovely overhand right. Mike Rollins is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rollins scores with a three punch combo!
James takes a shot right to the bread basket. Rollins scores with a body shot.
James closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rollins did well to prevent James getting side control. James thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rollins's head. James is keen to just control but Rollins is a slippery customer. Rollins looks like he's trying to stand up.
Mike Rollins overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That's three minutes gone in the round. James stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Rollins to get to his feet. James fails with the takedown and Rollins counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Rollins wants to stand but James is controlling his posture from full guard. James looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rollins is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rollins gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. James fails in his attempt to clinch. Rollins throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. James misses the body punch and Rollins counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Nice body kick from James. James slips under a jab from Rollins. No joy there for Rollins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
James tries to close the distance and clinch but Rollins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rollins slips a jab and a cross from James.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rollins scores with a jab. Rollins shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts James as he jumps to the side. Rollins takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Rollins misses with a double jab.
James throws a lazy body kick and Rollins counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. James is lucky that one didn't land flush. James shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. James closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. James wants to control but Rollins is keeping him busy. James is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Rollins tries to escape but James is in control. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. James tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Rollins explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Rollins lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Rollins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as James sprawls well. James wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rollins gets slowly back to his feet. James tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. A punch combination from Rollins misses. James lands a head kick!
James fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rollins avoids it really well and circles away. Rollins gets a clinch. James using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Rollins has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Rollins has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. James pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rollins scores with a nice body kick.
Rollins keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James swings and misses with a shot to the body and Rollins cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Rollins scores with a takedown into James's guard. Rollins throwing strikes from guard but James blocks nicely. James looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rollins is one step ahead there. Rollins postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rollins gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Rollins clinches. Rollins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. James shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rollins defends it nicely. Mike Rollins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eithan James. Rollins scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Rollins throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and James counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rollins's guard now. This has been an exciting period of action! Rollins is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst James is controlling him. James trying to control but Rollins is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Eithan James. Well Rollins has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
