Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Rotton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louis Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Panasonic Youth by The Dillinger Escape Plan kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Louis Evans told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Rotton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Louis Evans! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Columbo Gatti and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans misses with a lunging right hand
and Rotton counters with a one-two to the body. Rotton throws a jab when Evans was well out of range. Evans thows a leg kick but Rotton checks it and Rotton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Rotton throws a jab but it's blocked by Evans. Rotton misses with a looping left. A chopping leg kick lands by Rotton. Evans fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Rotton looks to land a combination but Evans avoids it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rotton throws a poor cross that misses
and Evans counters with a left to the body. Evans takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans moves out of range as Rotton strikes. Rotton shoots in for a takedown but Evans shows good takedown defense. Rotton staying out of range there. Rotton feints and then cracks Evans's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Evans down. Evans fails to land with a series of punches.
A left and a right from Evans both land. Nice combination. Rotton misses with the combination.
Evans looks to throw the jab but Rotton is out of range. A nice inside leg kick there by Rotton. That's going to slow Evans down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rotton has a takedown stuffed. Evans tried to score with a low kick but Rotton checks it. Rotton throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Evans sees it coming and avoids it easily. Evans takes one to the chin there. Rotton swings away with a body shot that misses
and Evans counters with a takedown into side control. Evans throws a strike aimed at the side of Rotton's head but Rotton avoids it well. Rotton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Evans on the ground. Evans is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Rotton's shoulder. That is not cool. Evans looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Evans is staying tight to Rotton's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evans is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rotton has escaped the position, nice work there. Evans lands some shots froms side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rotton being controlled for a moment. Evans throws a strike aimed at the side of Rotton's head but Rotton avoids it well. Evans wants to control but Rotton is keeping him busy. Evans controlling from side mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Louis Evans dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rotton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Evans's waist but Evans gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rotton off to one side. Evans closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rotton's guard. Evans is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Rotton looking to control.
Rotton wants to get back to his feet but Evans is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Evans sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Louis Evans wasn't active enough on the ground. Evans swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rotton.
Evans throws a leg kick but Rotton sees it coming and checks it nicely. Evans lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rotton circles away quickly and effectively. Rotton wants to clinch up but Evans keeps it at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Evans uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rotton. Evans ducks under a wild hook from Rotton. Rotton slips a jab and a cross from Evans.
Evans pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rotton back to the cage. Evans follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Rotton stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Evans. Evans keeps the fight on the outside. A clash of legs there as Evans blocks the low kick. Rotton ducks under a wild hook from Evans. Rotton scores with a hook. Rotton uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Evans.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evans's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Evans duly obliges. Evans misses with the combination.
A low kick from Evans is predictable there and Rotton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Evans tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Rotton is able to avoid easily. Evans cracks Rotton with a right hand to the side of the head. Evans buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Louis Evans is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Evans throws out a loose jab but Rotton uses good head movement to avoid it. Evans shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Rotton avoids the body shot from Evans.
Evans misses with a low kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rotton works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Rotton has managed to clinch.
Evans wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Evans takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Rotton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Evans ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rotton moves away. A jab from Rotton does it's job there. Rotton misses with a right hand and Evans cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Evans misses with a jab, cross combination.
No joy there for Evans, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Louis Evans showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Evans is refusing to be controlled, as Rotton sits in half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Evans kicks off Rotton and gets to his feet. Evans jabs Rotton to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Evans takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Evans misses the jab. A solid leg kick lands there for Rotton.
Evans throws a right and a left that Rotton avoids nicely. Rotton scores with a decent looking hook. Rotton throws a leg kick and Evans counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Evans. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rotton looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rotton keeping moving, preventing Evans from controlling successfully. Rotton wants to get back to his feet but Evans is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evans slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

and Evans counters with a nice leg kick. Rotton has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Evans lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

and Rotton counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Johnny Rotton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rotton throws a hook but Evans blocks it. Rotton throws an off balance right hand
and Evans counters with a one-two to the body. Evans pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rotton back to the cage. Evans follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Rotton throws a hook to the side of Evans's head but Evans sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Evans will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

And that's the end of the fight! Louis Evans comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Evans winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
