The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Gordan throws a lazy uppercut
and Russel counters with a head kick that drops Gordan to the mat! Gordan scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Gordan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Russel circles away quickly and effectively.
Gordan punishes Russel's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gordan.
Russel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gordan cracks Russel with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Gordan shoots in for a takedown but Russel shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gordan throws a right hand that misses
and Russel counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gordan throws a poor cross that misses
and Russel counters with a crisp right hand that drops Gordan! Russel lets Gordan back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Gordan is rocked!
Russel lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Gordan falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
