Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Duncan Foreshore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jason Dale!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dale throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dale swinging wildly here.

Dale shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Dale is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Foreshore is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dale is aware though and is defending well.

Foreshore looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Foreshore looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dale is one step ahead there.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Dale seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Foreshore knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dale on the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like Dale might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Foreshore is wriggling around but Dale manages to pass to half guard.
Dale slows the pace down in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Foreshore has hold of Dale's hands but Dale slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Dale looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Dale is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Foreshore has managed to free his arm - good work.
Dale passes the guard and advances to mount!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dale looking to control and managing it successfully.
Foreshore is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dale controlling from mount.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jason Dale hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Foreshore misses with a takedown attempt
and Dale scores with a counter punch that sends Foreshore to the canvas! Dale smells blood - he's punishing Foreshore with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Foreshore has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Dale!
