PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dutch Delight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boon Baggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baggins is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins (my hero). Dutch Delight has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Boon Baggins!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baggins with a lazy takedown attempt
and Delight counters with a body kick that stops Baggins in his tracks momentarily.
Baggins misses with a takedown attempt
and Delight counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Jab, jab by Delight - just one landing.
Delight connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Baggins fails with the takedown
and Delight counters with an inside leg kick.
Dutch Delight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boon Baggins.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters circle momentarily. Delight darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Delight scores with a one two! Baggins had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Boon Baggins has been cut.
Dutch Delight is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Baggins misses with a left hand
and Delight makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Delight lands a head kick. Baggins smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Delight lands a hook that stumbles Baggins back into the ropes. Delight follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Baggins to the canvas! Delight pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Baggins has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
