Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jannety tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McDuff swivels and escapes.
McDuff gets caught flat footed, as Jannety shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jannety tries to free his leg and advance position but McDuff is retaining full guard.
McDuff looking for a sweep. Not yet McDuff, not yet.
McDuff being controlled here, momentarily.
McDuff keeping moving, preventing Jannety from controlling successfully.
Jannety sitting in guard, not really doing much.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McDuff can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jannety throwing strikes from guard but McDuff blocks nicely.

Jannety stands and steps away. McDuff gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
McDuff drops Jannety with a beautiful combination! Jannety stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McDuff is looking for the KO!
Jannety is rocked!
Horrible takedown by Jannety or perhaps it was just good defense by McDuff which made him look bad.
Oh Jannety is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jannety fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jannety seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marty Jannety . That's going to take a lot out of him.
McDuff lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Jannety can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from McDuff and Jannety drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by McDuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Douglas McDuff!
