The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Johnson to the mat! Johnson manages to get full guard.
Oliveira tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard.
Oliveira stands up over Johnson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Johnson working for a triangle but Oliveira defends it easily.
Oliveira postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oliveira forces his way into half guard.
Johnson tries to roll over but Oliveira keeps him under control.
Johnson is staying active underneath Oliveira, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Johnson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Oliveira has his foot on Johnson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnson works his way back into a safe position though.
Oliveira is trying to hold Johnson in close to prevent damage but Johnson has managed to pass into half guard.
Oliveira has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Johnson slips a nice elbow through Oliveira's hands, connecting with Oliveira's forehead.
Oliveira is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Johnson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Johnson's back!

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Oliveira's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Oliveira controlling the positon.
Oliveira is working the ground and pound. Can Johnson escape?
Oliveira is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Johnson is trying to defend against the choke here but Oliveira has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Oliveira Tightens the hold and Johnson taps out furiously! Oliveira displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
