The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers pivots, looking for a leg kick but Carter is out of range and Rogers settles back down.
Rogers misses with a lunging right hand
and Carter counters with a low kick, right behind Rogers 's knee.
Fedor Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good exchange - Carter coming out on top.
Carter doesn't manage to clinch there - Rogers circles away.

and Carter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Carter counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rogers's knee momentarily.

Rogers fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Carter.

Carter bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rogers's head backwards.

and Rogers counters by clinching up.
Carter tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Carter pushes Rogers back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Rogers blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Carter avoiding damage as Rogers throws knees to the body.

It looks like Calvin Carter has been cut.

Carter swings wildly with an uppercut but Rogers uses good head movement to avoid it.
Carter's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Carter throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rogers blocks it with crossed arms.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee is keeping an eye on Carter - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Rogers tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Carter avoids it.
Carter lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Carter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rogers closes the distance looking to clinch
and Carter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Carter counters with an outside leg kick.

letting Carter counter with a right hand.

and Carter counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rogers thinking.
Rogers is breathing heavily.
Carter dodges the punch combination from Rogers.
A low kick from Rogers misses
and Carter counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Carter looks at the referee who does nothing so Carter lands a crushing right that sends Rogers to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
