Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Dragonez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel Dragonez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Dragonez! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dragonez with a lazy takedown attempt and Foster counters by clinching up. Foster manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Foster makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Foster lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Foster manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Dragonez can't get the takedown.
Dragonez has Foster pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Foster manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. James Foster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Dragonez. A head punch blocked on the inside by Dragonez. Dragonez is trying to drag Foster to the mat but Foster just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Dragonez drops down looking for an ankle pick but Foster pulls his leg out and moves away.
Dragonez looks gassed! Foster rushes Dragonez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Foster tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by James Foster. Dragonez moves to clinch but Foster breaks away and Foster counters by clinching up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dragonez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Foster is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dragonez to the mat. Dragonez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Foster engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Foster thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Foster seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

We're going to have a standup here because James Foster wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Dragonez closes the distance looking to clinch and Foster counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Foster performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Dragonez won't allow Foster to pass to mount.

We're going to have a standup here because James Foster wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Foster gets a clinch. Foster is working Dragonez over against the cage. Foster lands a body shot. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Foster creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Foster for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dragonez misses with a takedown attempt and Foster decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dragonez's guard. Dragonez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Foster controls the pace. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Foster is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Foster not landing any meaningful shots this time. James Foster has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Foster shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dragonez napping and manages to drive through into side control! Foster moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Foster working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Foster stands up and beckons Dragonez to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Foster misses its intended target. Dragonez misses with a takedown attempt and Foster moves into the clinch. James Foster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Dragonez. Dragonez goes for a takedown attempt but Foster pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Stalling in the clinch from Foster.
