Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kanbei Shimada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karva Jorgos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shimada's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Party and Bullshit. Jorgos has chosen Schnappi Das Kleine Krokodil as his entrance music. Karva Jorgos is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kanbei Shimada! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Karva Jorgos! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jorgos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shimada moves away. Shimada swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Shimada ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Shimada lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Karva Jorgos has been cut. Shimada rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jorgos counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Jorgos trying to control from Shimada's half guard. Shimada has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Jorgos trying to control but Shimada is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shimada is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Jorgos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Shimada looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Shimada seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Shimada looking for a guillotine here but Jorgos defends easily.

Shimada defends it easily. Jorgos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shimada can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Shimada feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jorgos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jorgos stands and throws Shimada's legs to the side, diving into side control. Shimada looking for a sweep but Jorgos has passed into full mount! Oh no! Shimada prevents Jorgos from taking his back. Shimada can't escape the position.
Jorgos takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Jorgos unloads with some shots from mount but Shimada bucks and avoids them well.

Shimada is looking to work some ground and pound but Jorgos has wrist control. Jorgos has Shimada pulled in close to control his posture. Shimada preventing the sweep.
