Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lynch comes to the cage accompanied by Wild Thing. Eric Lynch has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hunter connects with a body shot that sends Lynch's belly button to the back.
Lynch on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Lynch blocks a head kick by Hunter.
Hunter clobbers Lynch with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hunter wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Horrible takedown by Lynch or perhaps it was just good defense by Hunter which made him look bad.

Hunter falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lynch counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hunter!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hunter is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lynch looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lynch has a closed guard, preventing Hunter from standing up.
Lynch is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hunter would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Lynch had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hunter defends it easily.
Hunter is looking to stand up but Lynch won't let him.
Lynch controls Hunter momentarily but Hunter frees himself.

Lynch is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hunter blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lynch.
Lynch is looking to stall here but Hunter recovers full guard.
Hunter wants to stand and escape but Lynch is having none of it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Lynch is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hunter doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lynch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hunter pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hunter throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Hunter misses with a body shot.
Hunter scores with a jab.
Lynch ducks under a wild hook from Hunter.
Lynch takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Lynch blocks a head kick by Hunter.
Lynch shoots in looking for a takedown. Hunter tries to sprawl out of it but Lynch keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hunter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hunter bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Lynch is breathing heavily.

Hunter scores with a punch to the head.
Hunter scores with a jab to the body.
Hunter fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lynch has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hunter misses with a wild body shot.
Lynch takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Lynch takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A head kick misses from Hunter.
Hunter cracks Lynch with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hunter lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Hunter misses with a kick to the body.
Hunter connects with a high kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Hunter dominated that round.
That's time! Lynch's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lynch is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hunter sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Hunter turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Ben Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lynch doesn't seem bothered though.

Lynch shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Hunter. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Lynch moves forwards but Hunter connects with a nice, crisp jab.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Lynch drops his hands momentarily and Hunter needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Lynch just on the top of the head. Lynch drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Lynch - he's done!
