Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Clay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dre Tarver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Columbo Gatti and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarver moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Clay passes Tarver's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Clay is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tarver doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Clay.
Clay is looking to take a break and control but Tarver is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Clay creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
