Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Like Whoa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jethro Walrustitty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Walrustitty's choice of entrance music: The Fish Slapping Dance. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Like Whoa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jethro Walrustitty! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walrustitty slips under a jab from Whoa. Whoa lands an overhand right. Whoa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Walrustitty was well out of range. Poor timing from Whoa. Walrustitty fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Whoa to the ground. Walrustitty is now in Whoa's guard. Walrustitty looking to pass the guard. Walrustitty trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Walrustitty lands a couple of digs. Walrustitty being controlled here momentarily. Walrustitty tries to free his leg and advance position but Whoa is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walrustitty drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Whoa dives on top into guard. Whoa stands up from Walrustitty's guard - Whoa perhaps looking for a knockout. Whoa is looking to clinch but Walrustitty is avoiding it.
Walrustitty shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Whoa to counter with a crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Whoa misses with a right hand and Walrustitty counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Whoa! Walrustitty scores with a couple of good head shots there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Whoa tries to hold on but Walrustitty postures up. Whoa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Walrustitty on the ground. Walrustitty throwing strikes here but Whoa is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Whoa gets back to half guard. Walrustitty is thwarting Whoa's attempts to control the position. Walrustitty seems to be working for a kimura but Whoa defends the submission attempt. Whoa wants to control but Walrustitty is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walrustitty thows a huge punch but Whoa dodges it nicely.
Walrustitty has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Whoa controlling the position well. Walrustitty prevents Whoa from improving his position. Whoa is trying to control but can't.
Like Whoa has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Walrustitty tries for a takedown but Whoa circles away easily and Whoa counters with a nice uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Whoa misses with a lunging right hand
and Walrustitty counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Whoa! Whoa is trying to escape the mount.
Walrustitty wants to take his opponent's back but instead Whoa manages to regain half guard. Walrustitty trying to mount his opponent but Whoa defends it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Walrustitty sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Whoa defending well though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jethro Walrustitty dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A decent looking cross lands there for Whoa. Walrustitty closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Walrustitty lands in his opponent's guard. Whoa managing to control the position. Whoa wants to stand up but Walrustitty is controlling him. Walrustitty with a flurry of punches that miss. Whoa is pulling down on Walrustitty's head to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walrustitty stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Whoa swivels though and keeps the full guard. Walrustitty is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Walrustitty trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Walrustitty loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Walrustitty throwing strikes from guard but Whoa blocks nicely. Walrustitty thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Walrustitty lands a couple of decent looking shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Walrustitty looking to pass the guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Whoa is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Whoa wants to get up but he can't break Walrustitty's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Whoa gets to his feet - Walrustitty follows without any prompting. The fighters circling - Whoa throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Walrustitty fails with the takedown and Whoa counters with a nice body shot. Whoa connects with a nice looking jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice body punch from Whoa. Walrustitty is breathing heavily. Whoa misses the jab. Whoa lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Walrustitty at a distance.
Whoa throws a one two combo.
It looks like Jethro Walrustitty has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Walrustitty uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Whoa.
Walrustitty fails with the takedown enabling Whoa to counter with a crisp jab. Whoa connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A looping hook to the body misses from Whoa. Walrustitty does a little dance to reset his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Like Whoa dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Jethro Walrustitty's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Walrustitty misses with a takedown attempt and Whoa counters with a left to the body. Walrustitty gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Whoa counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Walrustitty has his takedown stuffed and Whoa makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Like Whoa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jethro Walrustitty. Walrustitty takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Whoa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Whoa throws a series of punches but Walrustitty avoids them all with ease. Whoa scores with a hook to the body. Walrustitty takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Like Whoa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Walrustitty takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Whoa scores with a jab to the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Whoa connects with a single shot there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Whoa wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Whoa drops Walrustitty with a beautiful combination! Walrustitty stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Whoa is looking for the KO! Whoa scores with a jab to the jaw. Whoa is looking to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Whoa misses with a double jab
and Walrustitty counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Walrustitty throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Whoa looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Walrustitty trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Walrustitty being controlled here momentarily. Walrustitty thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walrustitty stopping the sweep attempt from Whoa. Whoa is pulling down on Walrustitty's head. It's preventing any offense from Walrustitty, at least for the moment. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Like Whoa. Whoa jabs Walrustitty to the body, keeping him at a distance.
And that's the end of the fight! Like Whoa showed his dominance in that final round. I think Whoa has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
