The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stratton gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Betoni counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Betoni.
Betoni is stalling in the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Betoni preventing the sweep.
Joni Betoni has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Betoni lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Stratton swings widly with a right hand
and Betoni counters with an outside leg kick.
Stratton looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stratton fails with the takedown
and Betoni moves into the clinch.
Betoni content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Betoni makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Betoni breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Betoni works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
It looks like Lucky Stratton has been cut.

Betoni lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Stratton falls backwards - clearly groggy! Betoni dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
