PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between ryuh kidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Becker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). kidson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Drake - Succesful. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Becker has a takedown stuffed.
kidson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Becker shoots in but kidson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

kidson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Becker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

kidson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Becker is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Becker looking to break kidson's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. kidson remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Becker will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
