Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohandas Gandhi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roma Mano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roma Mano!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gandhi misses with a right hand
so Mano counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Gandhi has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Gandhi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Mohandas Gandhi just wasn't active enough.

and Mano moves into the clinch.

Gandhi is pressed up against the cage. Mano has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gandhi down to the mat. Gandhi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mohandas Gandhi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roma Mano.
Mano is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Mano is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Gandhi is keeping busy.

Mano is working for takedown but Gandhi is calmly controlling the position for now.

It looks like Roma Mano has been cut.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Mano.
Gandhi misses with a hook to the ribs.
Gandhi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mano loses concentration momentarily and Gandhi pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Mano crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Gandhi finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
