Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gavin Heckingstall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominickoy Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida comes into a darkened arena with his song building. the game kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Gavin Heckingstall could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dominickoy Machida's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Gavin Heckingstall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 14 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dominickoy Machida!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heckingstall moves to clinch but Machida breaks away
and Machida counters with a body kick.
Heckingstall throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
so Machida counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Machida thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Machida drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Machida jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Machida is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Heckingstall could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Machida drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Machida seems to have locked his on tight now - Heckingstall screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Machida, as he picks up the win!
