Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Mullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to clinch up
and Mullen counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Silva throws a right hand that misses
and Mullen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Silva darts in trying to clinch
and Mullen counters with a nice low kick that buckles Silva's knee momentarily.
Mullen lands a leg kick that knocks Silva off balance momentarily.
Silva looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Mullen counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Silva rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Mullen counters with a left to the body.
Silva moves to clinch but Mullen breaks away
and Mullen counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

It looks like Ed Silva has been cut.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mullen. That's going to slow Silva down.
Mullen fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Mullen lands with a nice body punch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva closes the distance looking to clinch
and Mullen counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Mullen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Silva tries to clinch
and Mullen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mullen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silva chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mullen can pounce on him.
Mullen lands with a right hand.
Mullen lands a nice leg kick that just misses Silva's sensitive parts.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mullen. That's going to slow Silva down.
Mullen scores with a head kick.
Mullen throws a leg kick which misses Silva's front leg but catches the back leg as Silva tries to avoid it.
Ed Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mullen lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Mullen! Silva is out on his feet! Mullen rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Silva is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Silva is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
