Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nuckin Futz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Metis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Metis comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Right Now - Van Halen kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Eddie Farnsworth and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metis avoids the body shot from Futz.
Metis avoids a punch combination nicely.
A slapping body kick lands there for Metis.
Futz shoots in for a takedown but Metis shows good takedown defense.
Futz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Metis moves away.
Nuckin Futz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Futz lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Metis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Metis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Futz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Metis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Metis counters with a nice double leg into side control. Futz won't be happy with that.
Metis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Futz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Metis is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Futz has escaped the position, nice work there.
Metis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
