Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Aha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Wrassle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joe Wrassle was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Aha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Wrassle! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aha throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wrassle decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Aha's guard. Wrassle wants to pass the guard but Aha is keeping the position. Aha is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Aha is working for a submission of some sort.
Aha is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wrassle sees it coming and defends easily. Wrassle wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aha thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wrassle's head. Wrassle is looking to improve his position.
Aha wants to stand up but Wrassle has a hold of him and won't allow it. Wrassle regains full guard. Nicely done. Aha stopping the sweep attempt from Wrassle. Aha wants to control from the top but Wrassle keeps moving. Wrassle wants to sweep but no luck. Wrassle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wrassle working a defensive guard but Aha passes into half guard.
Aha seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wrassle does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Wrassle moves into full guard.
Aha wants to control from the top but Wrassle keeps moving. Aha would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Wrassle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Aha trying to stand up but can't free himself from Wrassle's guard. Aha trying to control the position from guard on top but Wrassle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wrassle working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Aha. Aha wants to stand but Wrassle has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Wrassle controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. David Aha wasn't doing enough on the ground. Some wild striking there from Aha.
Aha throws a head kick that misses. Aha misses the shot to the body. David Aha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A slapping leg kick lands for Aha.
Aha lands a jab to the head.
Aha misses with a body kick. Aha attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Aha. Wrassle takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Aha wants to clinch but Wrassle slips to the side and Wrassle decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Aha's guard. Wrassle stops Aha from standing up. Aha lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wrassle! Wrassle manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aha throwing shots but Wrassle is blocking nicely. Wrassle is refusing to be controlled, as Aha sits in half guard. Wrassle is controlling Aha's position as best he can from this difficult position. Aha trying to pass the guard but Wrassle defending well. Wrassle is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Aha wants to control but Wrassle is keeping him busy. Wrassle tries to roll over but Aha keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Wrassle dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Wrassle missing with a left hand there. Aha was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Aha looks to clinch and Wrassle counters with a takedown into side control. Wrassle misses with an attempted head punch from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wrassle landing a few strikes. Aha manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Wrassle is nestled in close to Aha, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Wrassle not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Aha wants to get back to his feet.
Wrassle is looking to advance position but Aha won't allow it. Wrassle landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aha keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Wrassle trying to mount his opponent but Aha defends it. Wrassle works his foot free and advances to mount. Wrassle in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Wrassle unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Aha wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Wrassle celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Wrassle!
