Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Lachance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gundar Thorsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorsen has chosen Thunder struck- ACDC as his entrance music. Tim Lachance could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gundar Thorsen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Lachance!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gundar Thorsen!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lachance takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Thorsen falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lachance counters with a nice double leg into side control. Thorsen won't be happy with that.
Lachance is chipping away with strikes.
Thorsen tries to buck Lachance off but Lachance is having none of it.
Lachance tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lachance has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Lachance wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thorsen keeps working.
Lachance controlling the position from side mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lachance trying to control the action but Thorsen is working from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Thorsen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Thorsen is not content to let Lachance control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lachance looking to control but instead Thorsen has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Thorsen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Thorsen pushes Lachance off looking to stand but Lachance dives back in and keeps control.
Lachance trying to control the action but Thorsen is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are battling for position here. Thorsen manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Lachance wants to control from the top but Thorsen keeps moving.
We're going to have a standup here because Tim Lachance wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
A solid leg kick lands there for Thorsen.
Lachance just misses with a punch to the body.
Gundar Thorsen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Thorsen bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Thorsen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Thorsen moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Tim Lachance has been cut.
Thorsen misses with the combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lachance walks forward, straight into a front kick from Thorsen.
Lachance is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Thorsen swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lachance.
Thorsen connects with the punch.
Thorsen fails to land with a series of punches.
Lachance finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Thorsen's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Lachance falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gundar Thorsen!
