Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manny Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geoffrey Spaulding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Manny Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Geoffrey Spaulding! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee blocks a jab. Spaulding misses with a series of wild punches.
Lee walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Spaulding checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Spaulding jabbing away but nothing is landing. A combination from Spaulding does no damage. Spaulding tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lee paws at him with a jab and circles away. Spaulding throws a series of punches but Lee moves out of range. Lee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Spaulding throws a combination that misses and Lee counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Lee throws a series of punches but Spaulding avoids them all with ease. Spaulding feints and as Lee raises his hands in defense, Spaulding changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Spaulding wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Spaulding sitting in guard, not really doing much. Spaulding pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lee is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spaulding postures up.
Spaulding looking to sit in guard and control but Lee gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Lee won't allow Spaulding to sweep him here. Lee trying to control but Spaulding is working from the bottom. Spaulding lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lee!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Spaulding has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lee's face.
Spaulding controlling the pace for now. Lee really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Spaulding is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lee has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lee! Spaulding is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lee is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee wants to control from the top but Spaulding keeps moving. Spaulding is trying to control the position but Lee postures up. Spaulding working for a triangle but Lee defends it easily.
Spaulding looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Spaulding looks gassed! Spaulding throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Spaulding tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Spaulding working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Spaulding is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Spaulding working a defensive guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Geoffrey Spaulding dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lee slips a jab and a cross from Spaulding.
Geoffrey Spaulding seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Spaulding throws a jab when Lee was well out of range. Spaulding connects with a looping right hand.
Lee has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lee is rocked! Spaulding throws an overhand right that has Lee reeling! Spaulding follows up with a more punches and Lee is out cold! This one is all over!
