Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Phil Feel Good!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Brown!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Feel Good can't keep his opponent in guard - Brown advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Feel Good is looking for a sweep. Brown is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Feel Good knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground.
Brown keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Feel Good is trying to maintain the position but Brown is very close to passing his half guard.
Brown looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Brown looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Feel Good tries to kick Brown off but Brown keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Brown is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Feel Good wants to improve his position but Brown is controlling well.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

David Brown has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Brown misses with a hook to the body

and Feel Good counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Brown drags the fight down to the ground.
Feel Goodis looking to pass into half guard but Brown pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Brown is in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brown postures up and lands a big shot to Feel Good's brow.
Feel Good looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brown is one step ahead there.
Feel Good is breathing heavily.
Brown controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Let's hope that Brown has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Feel Good throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Brown is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Brown gets to his feet. Feel Good looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Feel Good has his takedown stuffed

and Brown counters with a single leg into guard. Feel Good didn't expect that.
Feel Good will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Brown is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Brown pushing down on Feel Good's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Feel Good pushes Brown off but Brown dives into side control.

Brown is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Feel Good looks calm but he's in trouble here. Brown gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Feel Good is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Brown lets go of the hold and Feel Good can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). David Brown!
