The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helix scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Helix is looking for a kimura but Velazquez is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Helix to get the leverage.
Helix thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Velazquez's head.
