With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Dean Smedley!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suarez shoots and misses
and Smedley counters with a one-two to the body.

Suarez sneaks out the side door and pushes Smedley away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Smedley tries to hold on but Suarez pushes him away.

Suarez goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Smedley is on top in guard.
Smedley has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Suarez is proving hard to escape from.

Suarez scrambles and gets back to his feet.

and Smedley counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Smedley enables Suarez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Smedley manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Suarez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Smedley manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Suarez has Smedley in his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Suarez throws a wild body kick that Smedley sees coming a mile off.
Smedley takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Suarez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smedley tries to avoid it but Suarez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smedley to the ground. Smedley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Suarez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Suarez showed some decent athleticism there.

Suarez is trying to work for a kimura but Smedley is defending well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
