Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White's entrance music is Kanye West - Stronger. A fine choice. David is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eluveitie - Calling The Rain. Mark David will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

David tries to bum rush White with a series of wild strikes but White uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and White counters with a nice uppercut.
David changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
David thows a body shot but no joy.

White drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and David dives on top into guard.

White looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! David has picked White up and slammed him! White can't keep hold of the triangle and David manages to pass to side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
David moves into full mount!

White might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
David can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as White is looking to escape.
White tries to get back to half guard but can't.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
David tries to control but White wriggling away.
White can't escape the position.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

White throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as David works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
White wants to control from the top but David keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

White throws his legs up looking for a submission but David uses it to pass to side control.

David decides to stand back up.
White's hands are dropping dangerously low here and David connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! White scrambles back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mark David seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

White drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but David manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now White has David in his guard.
White lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for David!

White moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, David has worked his arm free - good work by David!

David regains half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

David connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed White momentarily.

White throws an overhand right that lands on David's shoulder, as David tries to avoid the shot.
David is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by White.
David paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

I would just about give that final round to Mark David.
