Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Herkings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Herkings! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Jones! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Jones fails with a takedown attempt. Herkings throws a combination that misses and Jones moves into the clinch. Herkings is looking to break free of the clinch but Jones has double underhooks. Herkings wants to get back to striking at distance but Jones won't allow it.
Knees to the body from Jones.
Herkings has had enough of the clinch but Jones keeps him there for the moment. Jones holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Herkings wants to break free but Jones has control.
Jones lands a knee to the body.
Herkings is looking to break free of the clinch but Jones has double underhooks. Jones putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Herkings in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Herkings wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jones breaks the clinch.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Herkings tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Herkings manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Herkings circles away. Frank Herkings has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Jones. Herkings fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Herkings sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Jones moves into full mount! Herkings won't be happy about that! Herkings defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jones. Jones working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Herkings is in all sorts of trouble here.
Herkings is working hard here to advance position. Herkings is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones trying to control but Herkings is having none of it. Herkings defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jones. This has been an exciting period of action! Jones looking to isolate an arm here. Herkings doesn't see it coming and as Jones extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Jones!
