Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ethan LeBlanc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeBlanc tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily
and Jones counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps LeBlanc thinking.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but LeBlanc moves away.
LeBlanc feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, LeBlanc changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jones is adopting a defensive guard.
LeBlanc working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. LeBlanc manages to get himself to full guard.
LeBlanc is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

LeBlanc controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself.

LeBlanc throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jones works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
LeBlanc stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Jones can't keep his opponent in guard - LeBlanc advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
