The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Emelianenko shoots in and drives through. Grant sprawls well.
Grant throws out a leg kick but Emelianenko moves out of range and Grant only half commits.

Grant gets a clinch.
Emelianenko takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Fedor Emelianenko has been cut.
Emelianenko is trying to break free.
Grant blocking some punches.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Emelianenko misses with a short punch on the inside.
Emelianenko drops down looking for an ankle pick but Grant pulls his leg out and moves away.
Emelianenko throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Grant rattles Emelianenko with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Emelianenko tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Grant dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Emelianenko stiff and motionless on the mat!
