The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grove moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Kang goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Grove turns into him and now he's in Kang's guard.
Kang escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Grove gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Grove drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Grove jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kang had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Grove is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kang Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Grove's back instead.
Kang gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Kang is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Grove taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Kang.
