Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kahlua Zordick!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derek Riggs!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riggs lands a glancing blow to the side of Zordick's head.
Nice jab there from Riggs.
Riggs gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Zordick gets to his feet - Riggs follows without any prompting.
Zordick drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zordick stands up and beckons Riggs to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zordick fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Riggs.
Zordick pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Zordick shoots for a double leg takedown but Riggs sprawls well. He's pushed Zordick's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Riggs lands a nice hook to Zordick's body. Zordick takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Riggs connects with a good right hand that stumbles Zordick. Zordick circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Riggs throws an overhand right that lands on Zordick's shoulder, as Zordick tries to avoid the shot.
Zordick shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Zordick uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Riggs.
Riggs misses with a right hand
and Zordick counters with a slapping leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Riggs cracks Zordick with a good jab.
Zordick avoids a punch combination nicely.
Derek Riggs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Riggs throws a shot from downtown. Zordick moves away and avoids it.
Riggs throws out a powerful jab.
Zordick lands with a thumping leg kick.
Riggs dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Zordick is breathing heavily.
Zordick steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Riggs.
Donk. Riggs catches Zordick right on the button with a cross.
