Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abu Davee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Nitschke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Abu Davee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Damian Nitschke!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nitschke is looking to clinch.
Nitschke sizes up Davee with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Abu Davee has been cut.
Nitschke shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Davee is rocked!
Nitschke seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Davee does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Oh Davee is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nitschke is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Davee seems to have got his legs back now.
Nitschke is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Davee is trying to stand back up but Nitschke is controlling him
Nitschke wants to pass the guard but Davee is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davee is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nitschke is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Davee is just riding it out for now. Nitschke eventually gives up the hold.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Davee wants to get back to his feet.
Davee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nitschke on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nitschke is trying to control the action in half guard but Davee is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Nitschke wants to control the pace but Davee is squirming around nicely.

Davee has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Nitschke somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
Nitschke is working for a rear naked choke. Davee is not defending it well and Nitschke has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Davee refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Davee's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
