Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pep Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hernandez comes to the ring accompanied by Heart Vacnacy- the wanted. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cote slips a jab and a cross from Hernandez.

Cote keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Hernandez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cote.

and Hernandez counters with a crisp one two that drops Cote! Hernandez thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Cote to his feet! Cote is in big trouble!

Cote will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hernandez feints a jab promting Cote to slip. Hernandez then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cote slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Hernandez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cote circles away quickly and effectively.
Cote loads up on a big right hand but Hernandez slips the punch.

Patrick Cote seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cote throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Hernandez counters with a three punch combo that has Cote backing up. Cote nods at Hernandez to acknowledge the strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Cote tries to clinch up but Hernandez circles away and keeps his distance.

Hernandez is rocked!
Cote steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Hernandez is out on his feet! Cote sets himself and nearly takes Hernandez's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
