The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Lou da Vinci and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marston throws a leg kick but Carwin moved away.

and Carwin counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Carwin throws out a loose jab but Marston uses good head movement to avoid it.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Carwin, as that shot connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Marston. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Marston is fighting to break Carwin's control of his arms but Carwin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Marston is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Carwin is just riding it out for now. Marston eventually gives up the hold.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Marston is looking to take a break and control but Carwin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
