The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Silva showed some decent athleticism there.
Banner misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Silva is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Silva wants to work for an arm triangle but Banner is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Silva is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Banner doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Silva.

Oh but Banner is tightening it up a little... Silva has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Silva reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Silva taps out! nice BJJ there by Banner!
