The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bedemar throws a leg kick but Prime sees it coming and moves out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that Claude Bedemar will probably get the nod.

Bedemar throws a push kick but Prime slaps the foot to one side.
Bedemar tries a head kick but it misses.

Prime fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bedemar, pushing him back against the cage.

Prime gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Bedemar counters with a nice low kick that buckles Prime's knee momentarily.
Prime fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bedemar has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Prime wants to land a leg kick but Bedemar is out of range.

Bedemar has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Percy Prime seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Prime tries a low kick but Bedemar avoids it.
Bedemar throws a predictable looking body shot
and Prime counters with a nice uppercut.
Prime swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Bedemar stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Prime.

and Bedemar makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

and Bedemar counters with a crisp one two that drops Prime! Bedemar thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Prime to his feet! Prime is in big trouble!

Bedemar with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Prime throws an off balance right hand
and Bedemar counters with a low kick, right behind Prime 's knee.

Prime throws out a loose jab but Bedemar uses good head movement to avoid it.

Percy Prime has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Prime throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bedemar.

Bedemar steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Prime. That one must have hurt.
Prime swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Prime throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bedemar misses with a looping right.
Bedemar is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Claude Bedemar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
