Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Cortez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ragnar Hjelmslev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hjelmslev has chosen Let The Hammer Fall as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cortez misses the shot to the body.
Cortez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hjelmslev can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hjelmslev tries to buck Cortez off but Cortez is having none of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Peter Cortez will probably get the nod.
