Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Aerts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grzegorz Lipnicki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aerts comes to the cage accompanied by slipknot-waitandbleed. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Aerts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Grzegorz Lipnicki! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lipnicki tries to clinch and Aerts counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Aerts is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Lipnicki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Aerts is one step ahead there. Aerts wants to control from the top but Lipnicki keeps moving. Lipnicki wants to stand but Aerts is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aerts drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lipnicki manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Aerts has Lipnicki in his guard. Lipnicki wants to get up but he can't break Aerts's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lipnicki is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Aerts throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lipnicki would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Aerts misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lipnicki misses with a takedown attempt and Aerts counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Aerts is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Aerts stands up from guard. Let's bang! Lipnicki shoots and misses and Aerts counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Lipnicki looks gassed! Aerts decides to return to a standing position. Lipnicki throws a nice head kick!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lipnicki shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Aerts counters with a single leg into guard. Lipnicki didn't expect that. Peter Aerts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grzegorz Lipnicki. Aerts decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Aerts closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lipnicki quickly recovers to half guard. Aerts is taking a breather. Lipnicki says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Lipnicki is trying to stand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aerts moves nicely into side control. Aerts stands up and we're back to a striking position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Aerts dives in and scores a takedown into Lipnicki's guard. Aerts controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Aerts dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Lipnicki looks to clinch and Aerts counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Aerts is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Lipnicki is trying to stand up here but Aerts is controlling him well. Aerts seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lipnicki does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lipnicki is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aerts stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Aerts closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lipnicki did well to prevent Aerts getting side control. Aerts takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Lipnicki tries to kick Aerts off in order to stand up. Aerts Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Lipnicki is trying to control Aerts's posture but Aerts avoids it. Aerts has hold of Lipnicki's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lipnicki seems comfortable defending it but Aerts has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lipnicki is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lipnicki is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Aerts couldn't care less - he's delighted!
