Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Hunkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Dot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Josh Hunkman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Dot! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunkman looking to score a takedown here. Dot is defending well but Hunkman drives through and ends up in Dot's guard. Dot keeping moving, preventing Hunkman from controlling successfully. Hunkman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dot wants to stand and escape but Hunkman is having none of it. Hunkman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Dot wants to get back to his feet but Hunkman is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Dot is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Josh Hunkman. Dot shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hunkman eats them both and turns towards Dot to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Dot misses with a takedown and Hunkman counters with a shoot takedown. Dot fights it but they end up in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunkman content to stall in guard here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hunkman wants to control from the top but Dot keeps moving. Dot is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Josh Hunkman has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Dot with a poor takedown and Hunkman counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hunkman. Hunkman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hunkman stays in close to Dot's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunkman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Hunkman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dot looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Dot looks gassed! Dot takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dot parries the strikes from Hunkman easily there. Hunkman is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Dot to escape.
Hunkman decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dot to his feet. Hunkman throws a right hand that misses
and Dot counters with a nice body shot. Dot with a lazy takedown attempt and Hunkman counters with a nice double leg into guard. Josh Hunkman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Dot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunkman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dot is keeping the position for now. Hunkman keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dot's head. Hunkman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Hunkman gets to his feet - Dot follows without any prompting. Hunkman darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Hunkman landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunkman is working for a kimura but Dot is defending it quite comfortably.
It looks like Hunkman is going to stand back up.
Hunkman is keen to just control but Dot is a slippery customer. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hunkman is thwarting Dot's attempts to control the position. Hunkman content to control rather than advance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Hunkman dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Dot throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dot gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hunkman counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Josh Hunkman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dot looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hunkman is stalling in the full guard. Dot looking for a sweep. Not yet Dot, not yet. Hunkman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Dot has eaten all the pies! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hunkman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Josh Hunkman. Hunkman closes the distance and clinches. Dot is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Hunkman successfully pulls guard.
Hunkman tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hunkman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hunkman connects with a nice short shot to Dot's temple.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunkman trying to control the pace. Dot is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hunkman scores with a couple of nice shots. Hunkman content to control rather than advance. Dot looks like he's trying to stand up.

Dot doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hunkman counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dot wants to sweep here but Hunkman controlling him for the moment. Hunkman showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Hunkman stands up from Dot's guard - Hunkman perhaps looking for a knockout. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hunkman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dot sprawls well initially but Hunkman persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunkman landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Hunkman decides to stand and escape the position. Hunkman goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Hunkman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hunkman decides to stand back up. Dot looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Dot gets caught flat footed, as Hunkman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hunkman engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunkman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Dot fails in his attempt to clinch. Hunkman tries to clinch there but Dot circles away.
Hunkman drives through with a takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hunkman stopping the sweep attempt from Dot. Hunkman is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunkman distracts Dot with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hunkman forces his way into half guard. Hunkman stands up and beckons Dot to join him on the feet. Hunkman throws a head kick that misses and Dot counters with a nice body shot. Dot tries to clinch up so Hunkman counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Hunkman works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hunkman throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunkman decides to stand and escape the position. Excellent takedown into side control there by Hunkman. This has been an exciting period of action! The referee asks Hunkman politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hunkman prefers to stall for the moment though. Hunkman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dot can't do much from the bottom here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hunkman creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dot sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
And that's the end of the fight! Josh Hunkman showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hunkman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
