The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weis misses with a series of wild punches.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

John Skjelbred overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Skjelbred drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Weis manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Skjelbred has Weis in his guard.
