Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Vicius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zurab Mameledinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vicius might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to L'Amour Toujours (edit). The key to victory for Alex Vicius has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vicius looks to throw the jab but Mameledinov is out of range.
Vicius misses with a straight right.

Mameledinov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vicius was covering up waiting for the punch and Mameledinov finishes the takedown easily into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mameledinov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Vicius is breathing heavily.

Vicius will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mameledinov looks up at the clock and then as Vicius takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mameledinov smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Oh Vicius is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mameledinov lands a strong strike to the head of Vicius. That's dazed him! Mameledinov looking to finish here. Vicius is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Mameledinov lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zurab Mameledinov!
