Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyler Wood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mornington Crescent!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Crescent as he jumps to the side.
Wood changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crescent tries to avoid it but Wood manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crescent to the ground. Crescent escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wood checks a low kick from Crescent.
Wood shoots in but Crescent avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyler Wood. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A chopping leg kick lands by Crescent.
Horrible takedown by Wood or perhaps it was just good defense by Crescent which made him look bad.
Crescent throws a series of punches but Wood avoids them all with ease.
Crescent throws a hook to the side of Wood's head but Wood sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
No luck for Wood with that takedown attempt.
Wood tries to move into range but Crescent moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Wood is rocked!
It looks like Tyler Wood has been cut.
Wood fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Oh Wood is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wood steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Crescent. That one must have hurt.
Wood is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crescent misses with the combination.
Wood slips under a jab from Crescent.
Wood seems to have got his legs back now.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Crescent, as that shot connected.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wood misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Wood fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Wood tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Crescent swivels and escapes.
Wood tries to close the distance and clinch but Crescent swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wood shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Crescent as he avoids it easily.
Wood shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Crescent as he jumps to the side.

Wood looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Crescent misses with a hook. Wood ducked under it nicely.
Wood fails to land the takedown.
Crescent lands a big head kick that sends Wood to the canvas! Crescent follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
