Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cletis Kingsford!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingsford lands a jab.
Kingsford swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kingsford loads up on a big right hand but Walker slips the punch.
Some wild striking there from Walker.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walker shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kingsford counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Walker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kingsford counters with a straight right hand.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Walker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Kingsford counter with a right hand.
Kingsford lands a nice shot to the body.

Walker is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kingsford's half guard.

Walker thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kingsford is staying active underneath Walker, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kingsford can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kingsford has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Walker is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Walker throws an overhand right that lands on Kingsford's shoulder, as Kingsford tries to avoid the shot.

Kingsford is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Walker.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kingsford throws a jab but it's blocked by Walker.
Walker swings widly with a right hand
and Kingsford counters with a left to the body.
Walker misses with a hook

and Kingsford decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Walker's guard.
Kingsford trying to control the position from guard on top but Walker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Walker looking for a sweep. Not yet Walker, not yet.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Walker is controlling Kingsford's posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Andrew Walker wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Kingsford tries to sprawl but Walker drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Walker trying to control the action but Kingsford is working from the bottom.
Kingsford has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Walker is working away from the top position though.

Walker thows a huge punch but Kingsford dodges it nicely.
Kingsford is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walker looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Walker not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Walker tries to pass to full mount but Kingsford defends it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kingsford blocking the ground and pound attempt from Walker.

Cletis Kingsford showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Walker misses with an uppercut
and Kingsford counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Kingsford counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Kingsford counters with a stiff right hand.
Kingsford throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kingsford bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Walker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kingsford counters with a nice uppercut.
Walker misses with a takedown

so Kingsford counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kingsford wants to control from the top but Walker keeps moving.
Kingsford is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Cletis Kingsford.
Kingsford throws a hook to the side of Walker's head but Walker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

letting Kingsford counter with a right hand.
Kingsford uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Walker.
Kingsford wants to clinch up but Walker keeps it at a distance.
Kingsford misses with a body shot.
A big right from Kingsford misses.
Andrew Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Walker throws a right hand that misses
and Kingsford counters with a nice body shot.
Walker steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kingsford.
Walker looks to throw the jab but Kingsford is out of range.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Walker misses with a lunging right hand

and Kingsford counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Walker!

Cletis Kingsford comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Kingsford has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
