The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beauford moves out of range of the strikes.
Beauford displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Steele throws out the jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Steele, as that shot connected.
Steele jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Steele misses with a straight left.
Steele punishes Beauford's body with a nice straight punch.
Steele lands with a straight right. Beauford didn't see that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Steele throws a hook to the side of Beauford's head but Beauford sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Steele waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Beauford.
Beauford gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Steele counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
George Steele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steele jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Steele drops Beauford with a beautiful combination! Beauford stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Steele is looking for the KO!
Beauford is rocked!
It looks like Carter Beauford has been cut.
Beauford looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Steele steps in with a hook that catches Beauford right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Steele follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Beauford looks absolutely devastated.
